With our humble beginnings as Ishikawajima Shipyard from 1853, IHI has expanded its business into various fields over
the years. Now IHI has extensive involvement in industrial machineries, power systems, infrastructures and aero engines.

Ishikawajima Shipyard
was established.
1962
Delivered Japan’s first-ever
fully automated parking.
1971
IHI Bangkok Office
was established.
1975
Developed Japan’s first-ever
automated warehouse for
frozen foods.

Delivered paper machine to
Thai Kraft Paper Industry Co., Ltd.

Thai Jurong Engineering Ltd.
was established.

at Laem Chabang Port.

IHI ASIA PACIFIC (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
